Miser™ Saw

  • The Miser™ saw is a single-blade, linear feed system for cutting roof truss and wall frame components. When the right options are chosen for your workflow, this saw will become the primary cutting tool for your plant. It will keep up with the busiest of schedules, and can cut almost anything you throw at it.

This saw can cut components from 3 inches to 16 feet long, but it's design was made with flexibility in mind. Longer lengths are available. Any truss software currently on the market can communicate with the Miser for automatic cutting intelligence.

A somewhat new feature this saw has, is the ability to cut compound angles on component ends and bevels along their lengths. It is now faster than ever, able to cut 350-450 parts per hour.

This saw has many features to increase efficiency and decrease waste. Pick which ones fit your needs, and only pay for what you need. These features include:

    miserbutton
    • The optimizing software, BoardStretcher™--Nobody else's optimizing software can compare.
    • The Crooked Lumber Sensor is on constant lookout for crooked lumber that slows down assembly on the tables and requires one-off cuts to finish a truss.
    • The ink-jet marking system also speeds things up at the assembly tables, and doesn't require any extra time or man-power at the saw.
    • Various conveyor systems are available from easy, manual feeding to full-bunk capacity auto feeder, and everything in between.

These features will soon be a requirement for any truss plant who cares about waste and profits. Build more trusses with fewer people using the Miser single-blade saw.
